Tere is scheduling software. We run the website, Telegram bots, and email updates for web bookings. We are not a party to your bookings.

Your account

We keep your name, email, timezone, and language, and a hash of your password — not the password itself. We keep your offer, hours, bot settings, photo, and address if you add one. We keep your Telegram user and bot so the schedule can run. We keep whether you are on a trial or a paid plan, and which setup steps you finished so we can see where people stop. If you start an account, we keep the page you arrived from and the site that sent you — not a browse history of people who never sign up. Cards stay with Stripe; we keep their customer and subscription ids.

People who book

For Telegram bookings, we keep the client's Telegram id, name, username, and a phone number if they share one. For web bookings, we keep their name, verified phone number, verification records, and the email address where booking updates are sent. When they come back with a remembered phone number, we fill in the name and email from their last web booking. We also fill questions they already answered for the provider they are booking with. We also keep their choice to stop those emails. A host's offers are a separate list: we keep whether they joined or left, and the words they agreed to. For both channels we keep the booking: time, length, what they asked for, answers to your questions, ratings, and cancels. While they are still picking a time we may keep that progress until they send the request or type /start. Unfinished walks are dropped after 7 days. We do not keep a Telegram chat inbox. Messages during an open Telegram booking go through Telegram. Messages during an open web booking stay on that booking and are emailed. Free chat that is not a booking is discarded and never shown as a request. We may keep a count of those discards to stop abuse — not the words.

Shared blocks

You choose whether to share who you blocked, the date, and why. If you share, you also see blocks from others who share. You can turn this off anytime.

Cookies

A signed session cookie keeps you logged in. If you pick Spanish or English, we store that choice in a cookie. For web bookings, a signed cookie remembers your verified phone number for 400 days, and each visit renews that, so you do not need a new code each time. Page counts do not add a cookie.

Page counts

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sees the page, the referrer, the browser, and a rough location. It does not get your name or email. After you create an account we also keep which setup steps you finished, and the page you arrived from, so we can see where people stop. We do not keep a browse history of people who never sign up.

How long we keep it

We keep this while your account exists. Setup step records are dropped after 90 days. There is no automatic wipe of the rest yet. Email us to close the account and delete what we hold. Stripe keeps what they need for receipts.

Who else sees it

Stripe for billing. Telegram to send and receive Telegram messages. Our SMS provider receives your phone number and the verification code. Our email provider receives your email address and booking updates. The provider you book with can see your booking details and contact number. Cloudflare for page counts. Other providers can see shared blocks only if you choose to share them. We do not sell this.

If you booked and don’t have a Tere account

You don’t have a Tere login. Your data exists because you booked with someone using Tere. Write to us or to them if you want it removed.
